This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit https://boutique.gapgarage.ca/ (the "Site") or make a purchase there.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

COOKIES

Here is a list of cookies we use. We have listed them here so that you can choose whether to allow them or not.
- `_session_id`: Unique session identifier, allowing Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc.).
- `_shopify_visit`: No data retained, persists for 30 minutes from the last visit. Used by the internal statistics tracking system of our website provider to record the number of visits.
- `_shopify_uniq`: No data retained, expires at midnight (visitor’s local time) the next day. Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
- `cart`: Unique identifier, persists for 2 weeks, stores information about your shopping cart.
- `_secure_session_id`: Unique session identifier.
- `storefront_digest`: Unique identifier, undefined if the store has a password, used to check if the current visitor has access.

LOG FILES

track the activity on the Site and collect data such as your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and timestamp data (date and time).

INVISIBLE PIXELS, TAGS, and PIXELS are electronic files that record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally, when you make or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. This automatically collected information is referred to as "Order Information."

When we use the term "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to both Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Generally, we use the Order Information we collect to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen for potential fraud or risk;
- When it aligns with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information (particularly your IP address) we collect to screen for potential fraud or risk and, more generally, to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our advertising and marketing campaigns).

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a "Do Not Track" signal from your browser.

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information in our records unless and until you ask us to delete it.
