Terms and Conditions
No addition or modification to the terms shall bind GAPGarage unless agreed to in writing. Processing an order does not imply GAPGarage’s acceptance of additional terms or conditions.
PRICES
Prices displayed are in Canadian dollars. In the event of an error, GAPGarage reserves the right to change the price without notice. GAPGarage also reserves the right to modify prices based on market fluctuations and manufacturing conditions. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes are additional. The proposed prices are valid for a period of 7 days. Proposed shipping costs should be considered and may be subject to change based on distance or rural criteria. SALES TAXES
GAPGarage is required to collect Goods and Services Tax (GST) as well as Provincial Sales Tax (PST) on items that are not exempt.
PAYMENT TERMS
Purchases can be paid by VisaMD, MasterCard, PayPal, Cheque, Monético Desjardins, or debit card. All payments must be made in Canadian dollars.
DELIVERY
Many of the products we sell are shipped directly from warehouses across the country. Some of the products we sell also come from the United States. While some items are in stock, others are made to order and require manufacturing time. The estimated delivery dates are based on past delivery times and are accurate to more than 85%. If an unforeseen shipping delay occurs, we will inform you by phone or email of the new projected shipping date and give you the option to either maintain or cancel your order for a quick and full refund. Most items are delivered within 7-14 business days following the order (weekends and holidays are not considered business days). Some custom-made items may require a longer delivery time.
SHIPPING COST
There are shipping fees for most items sold on GAPGarage.ca. Shipping costs are displayed under the item prices in the virtual cart before you finalize your purchase. The cost of shipping varies based on the product size, delivery method, and other factors. The offer does not apply to trucks or typical oversized freight shipments. Some of the items we sell exceed the size limits for standard ground shipping and must be sent by truck or freight delivery. Once the order is dispatched, please allow an additional 7-10 business days for delivery to your door. Shipping methods and exact hours vary based on the shipping location and provider, as shipping is done from warehouses and manufacturers across the continent. Additionally, your items may not be delivered together or at the same time.
A carrier representative will call you to arrange a convenient delivery date for your package. Someone over the age of 18 may be required to be present and sign for the delivery, and identification will be necessary for verification. Please be aware that your order will be delivered on a tractor-trailer vehicle, and reasonable access must be available for the driver to maneuver their vehicle. The driver is obligated to deliver your order to the curbside. Inside delivery is not available for your order. It may also be necessary for someone to assist the delivery driver in safely unloading your order if a liftgate is not available. If access is an issue or assistance is needed, you may request to pick up your order at the freight carrier's loading dock at no additional cost to you.
DAMAGE TO PACKAGING
Before signing for your order, please ensure to inspect the delivery conditions and check for any visible damage. If there is significant damage and you feel it may have affected your item, please refuse the shipment and do not sign the receipt. Once the order is refused, please contact us promptly at VENTES@GAPINC.ca or call us and speak to one of our customer service representatives so we can process the request and initiate a replacement order. If the damage to the packaging is minor and you believe your order has not been affected, you may still accept the shipment but ensure to note the delivery slip with the exact nature of the damage and write "Subject to hidden damages" on the delivery slip.
HIDDEN DAMAGE
Immediately after receiving the order: open and inspect your item to ensure there is no sign of "hidden damage". If you find any damage, contact the carrier immediately and report the damage. The carrier must be contacted within 24 hours of receiving the shipment. You must keep your copy of the delivery slip and all original packaging materials for proper documentation of the claim. If possible, digital photos should also be taken to support these claims. Once you have contacted the carrier, please contact us promptly at VENTES@GAPINC.ca or call us and speak to one of our customer service representatives so we can process the request and initiate a replacement order.
