The latest product in the Proslat family promises twice the strength of a regular panel. The key to this panel is its concealed aluminum reinforcement strip. This design, with a patent pending, uses PVC only as an aesthetic finish, relying on aluminum to do the heavy lifting. It is not a replacement for the original Proslat PVC panel but rather an enhancement of the category.

The PROCORE panel is designed to meet the needs of customers with 24-inch stud spacing while maximizing load-bearing strength. The original Proslat PVC panel, designed for 16-inch studs, remains an excellent option for many homeowners. Its strength is still your best economical choice (it can support up to 75 pounds (34 kg) per linear foot), but nowadays, some new constructions feature 24-inch stud spacing.
